Confession: I don’t play golf. I don’t know why golf tees come in different lengths, but upon inspection, these seem to be high quality and I assume they would work great for any golfer. They are smooth, nicely varnished, and there were no defects. In fact, I got 101 in my bag of 100. Kismet!What I DID buy them for was to make a thread-holding insert for my thread spools and bobbins. I bought an ikea cabinet with drawers that are 3.5” deep. Since I have two sewing machines, which of course use different bobbin types ?, I needed spikes to hold a standard thread spool and two bobbins each. These work perfectly and fit just inside the drawers.
