It’s is indeed waterproof and durable and the spikes at the end is more or less to get a good grip on the floor but probably not slip slip resistant. I use these for work in construction as boots are too hot and heavy and musty. Haven’t had any issue with the issue. Shoe has only worn out because of the heavy work environment. 10/10 recommendI decided to try these golf shoes, because I wear New Balance Tennis shoes for tennis and just general walking around. They are comfortable and roomy for me and my size 16 feet. The golf shoes are exactly the same. Put them on for my first round and they fit like a glove and are extremely comfortable. At my size 6-6 and 245 lbs I have a problem with the spikes on my other golf shoes, I constantly have to replace them if I walk on the hard surface parking lots for any distance, I just grind them into dust. The spikeless shoes have worked out great. Plenty of traction on the tee box and work well on wet grass. Highly recommend. The only thing I am unsure of is longevity. I have owned my new pair for only two months and they appear to be holding up well, but in truth only time will tell. I play at least once a week, but ride the course so I am not walking. Golf shoes are really expensive so these were an incredible value. I have to have waterproof shoes in Hilo Hi asit rains every night and these are awesome. I just hosed them off and the mud came right off without staining as my other shoes all did. I really like the grey too, white just gets dirty so fast these look better too. I can,t believe they were only $44, the least expensive golf shoes I found in town were $120 and frankly with our weather only last a year so I can get 3 pair of these instead,and have great shoes for three years! They feel just like the most comfy Scetchers tennis I own which makes them a "slam dunk" in my book. I highly recommend them an really did buy two more pair!Really pleased with this NB shoe for hubby's size 12 4E shoe size. Considering the amount of walking involved with playing 18 holes twice a week, you really need a shoe with arch support and breathability. He loves these NB's. And they conform to the normal NB sizing in his regular tennis shoes, so there's no problems ordering. I wanted to be snarky and take off a star for color, because these are a beotch to keep clean after he's slogged around in Spring mud courses, but it's really more of a half or quarter star off issue! I wish they were in black, though. One note, which doesn't impact us, but it might you- there's not a lot of room to swap out an ortho insert. I think you'd have to go at least a half size bigger to put in a plushy insert.Very comfortable. Waterproof is ok but not perfect. Other than that they are great.I bought these for my husband for Christmas and had to return them twice in order to get the right fit because they were too big. We ended up needing to go a full size down (size 9) from his normal fabric 574s which are all size 10. He's had about 20 pairs of 574s over his lifetime ALL size 10 so I know it's not an issue of me ordering the wrong size - it's the shoe. Other than that shoes are great, they grip well & look very nice and the returns were refunded very quickly.I just want this company to know that whoever is doing the quality control on shoelaces needs to do more testing. The third time I laced them up the shoe lace broke. I cannot recall the last time a shoe lace broke on me. I usually wear out the shoe before the laces. But they did fit well and they are quite comfortable. So should I buy new laces from Amazon or Target? Hmm!!!I've been wearing them off and on for a few days. I expect they will loosen up a bit in time. They are stiff.these shoes do not come up to their size and width fitting, considering they are supposedly a wide fitting, i struggled to even get my foot in, eventually getting your foot in these shoes they are so tight they are unwearable, and have been returned to amazon,Love the look and feel of these new golf shoes. Wanted to try spike-less shoes for a while and with New Balance how can you go wrong. Spring hasn't sprung in Southern Ontario just yet so haven't had a chance to try them on the course. I do agree with some reviews that they can fit a little bigger. I went with what I have in all NB shoes 12/4E. They might be a little big, but I'd prefer that over too tight. When buying if it's possible to go down one half size than your normal size you may want to consider that.Very good sales ... shoe well fit and delivered as expected... however, water leaked after 2 weeks by just walking on wet ground after the normal rain (not in puddle) bottom of my socks are wet (dry on top)???Nice looking sturdy shoes, they are a bit tight on the width, but hopefully they will wear in.Have been wearing new balance 10.5 4E shoes for years. They have all fit very similar and these are no exception. Have not been able to wear them golfing yet but they feel comfortable around the house
