Had to make a choice between these and the more classic casual shoe look Callaways. I went with these because of the unique color and because they started the whole spikeless wave of golf shoes (or at least got lucky having a pro golfer wear them).Because of the warnings about breaking in the shoe, I wore them all day the day before I golfed in them and I'm glad I did as at first I thought I had made a horrible mistake in purchasing these shoes! Initially, putting them on was difficult as they were very tight and about an hour into wearing them, the inside tops of both feet were hurting! I wear a size 12 in just about every shoe and these seemed right (if a little small) at first if only a little tight.Towards the end of that first day, I had forgotten about the (slight) pain and realized that not only was it gone, but the shoe was fitting very nicely. The next day, lacing them up for golf was a non problem and they felt very comfortable. By the end of the round, I not only was happy to be wearing them, I loved being able just to go to the next "thing" without having to bring an extra pair of shoes. In regards to performance, I played at a rain soaked course and had no problems with stability, on the tee box, fairways, rough and including sand. They were as better than my worn spikes, and as good as a new pair of spikes. I would say they are water proof because of the leather, they did get relatively wet because of the course and I had dry socks afterwards.Great shoe!Price is a bit high, but on sale this is a no brainer. Will NOT be going back to spikes!Just be sure to break them in for a day or two and luckily you can wear them with just about anything low to upper middle casual. (golf pants, shorts, jeans, khakis...)It has been written numerous times here that Ecco shoes now have variable quality and I can verify that .Normally Ecco shoes fit slightly larger than other brands ..my latest two purchases are decidedly smaller and although they say extra wide they are less wide than normal . I am currently walking around in these new ones and they are stored with shoe horns ..very disappointing shoes. The leather on my older ECCO shoes have after 2 years completely changed colour from brown to almost cream . All shoes were made in China. On the other hand I have some Ecco casual shoes that are wonderful....Lack of quality control ..I will not buy them again sight unseen .These shoes are a bit wide in the toe. The box is not labeled as such but the shoes inside were labeled extra wide. I sent one pair back and the replacement was again extra wide. I don't know it this is the normal width or if I got mislabeled merchandise twice. I kept the second pair. They are a bit wide in the toe but otherwise comfortable. These shoes fit somewhat tight all around. They are good in the length, but snug. Also, the color of the sole looked like black in the pictures, but it is actually a navy blue (I guess I should have paid attention to the color description "marine")! They would probably be perfect for someone with a slightly narrow foot. These shoes are the bomb! But I got lucky - all the complaints on here about the shoes not fitting...you’re buying shoes without trying them on - what did you expect to happen??? LOLThey are what I expected classic tennis shoe look and looks great with golf pants. Good adjustability but walking a course could be daunting in these shoes. Got a amazing price could not pass up!Love the sneaker design, but unfortunately the arch on this particular model differs from previous echo golf shoes and they are not as comfortable to wear.Lindo modelo. Buena calidad característica de ECCO.Un poco difícil calzar la parte trasera se dobla hacia adentro pero una vez puestas se disfrutan.Exactly what I wanted. Inside the shoe it says "extra width" which isn't mentioned in the product description but is exactly what I was looking for. Very comfortable, only worn them once so far though. I had to return other makes as they were too narrow. And they're bright orange! Not easy to find, bright orange stud/spike free golf shoes. Will go great with orange bag, orange clubs, orange shirt, orange socks, orange tees, orange towel, orange gloves and orange cap!Wonderful value but unfortunately too small so had to return. Sadly the option to change was not available in the colour needed. Ecco shoes are always very well made and these were no exception. My feet are too big!! The shoe then became available in correct size for an extra £10 or so. These fit fine and I look fwd to using them when the weather improves!Ecco shoes are always good quality products, so no problems there. Just be careful on the sizing. I chose their 10.5 - 11 which in effect comes through as an 11, which is too large for me. I haven't bothered changing it, but just letting you know in case you're thinking of taking the gamble :)Lovely pair of golf shoes, really comfortable, and got them from here at a great price. They didn't need breaking in, I walked 18 holes in them the second time I wore them, no issues whatsoever. The colour drew a few comments, but not negative, more along the lines of "bl**dy hell, where did you get those?". All in all, a cracking pair of golf shoes, very happy to recommend them.I bought these to replace my FootJoy shoes that were uncomfortable. These are a bit tight across the top of my feet, but as they are leather they should stretch a bit. These have been fitted with gel insoles which makes a vast difference over 18 holes
