I have played golf for over 50 years, was a golf instructor for over 15 years, and have tried many devices on a personal level and an instructoral level to enhance the playing experience. Some devices were rather useless, some were helpful, or somewhat helpful, but I feel this simple device is superior to any other golf device that I ever used. Is it expensively made, no, but it doesn't have to be, it will teach you things about the golf swing that would cost a lot more in golf lessons to understand. I mean, just the arm position, itself, when put on correctly which is simple to do, is a fundamental that will help your swing, immensely. It helps you to understand width in your arms in the backswing, and it even provides you with feedback when properly going through the ball on the downswing. Quite frankly, I was skeptical in the purchase of the LC-1, but I liked the concept, and it delivers. Personally, I think it is a great teaching or learning tool, and after 55 years of playing this game, and suffering and seeing other suffer, I think it has great potential to help many golfers to understand a most important part of the golf swing that is easier to feel than being told.
