Also did a review for the Country Club Hitting Strip (10" x 30") which I purchased with this after reading many of the reviews. This golf net is super heavy duty & no doubt durable. Assembled, the height to the top of the flex poles is approx. 92". Base measures approx. 126" (across the front) by 36" deep. The cells of the netting are diamond shaped & measure about 1/2" wide by 1" tall. The assembly instructions are not the easiest to follow but looking at the picture & keep in mind that the net attaches at four corners with the flex poles running thru the nylon sleeves that bear the product logo's. When assembled these sleeves end up on the outside of the back of the net (as pictured). Due to the height of the extended flex poles, (too lazy to go get a step ladder) I chose to hook the net loop to the button at the top of the flex pole before inserting the pole into the base. Be careful not to pinch the bungee type cording that runs inside the flex poles while doing this. Once set up, in just a few minutes I was able to disassemble the unit into two parts to take it inside. I just separated the net loops & then the flex poles from the base, placing the still extended flex poles together holding them side by side & rolling the net up around them. Both sections were then able to fit thru a regular door way. Using the net, I first tried a couple of practice foam balls off a long iron. These barely moved the netting, which was set @ a distance of about 12' from me, so I moved on to real golf balls (which is why I purchased this). The net exceeded my expectations, taking hits from long and short irons, fairway woods and driver shots off a tee. The net would absorb the impact and drop the ball within a foot or two in front of it. When hitting the woods and short irons, I did close the distance from me to the net, to around 8 to 10 feet. Even a couple poor hits that I made off the heel, were picked up by this net. The net did not have to be staked down (stakes provided) or weighted and stayed in place. After several hours of repeated full swing hits into this net on it's first use, no damage, or wear & I didn't experience any hits that went thru or missed the net. This product is a more expensive option that is out there, but in my opinion is worth it. I do not plan on leaving it stay outdoors and it sets back up as easy as it comes down. I like the feeling & sound of a well hit golf shot, working on form and club speed & not having to leave home to improve these.
